The Makita 7 Inch angle grinder with AFT® system and brake, features a powerful 15 Amp motor for high demand applications. The Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) turns the motor off, if rotation of the wheel is suddenly forced to stop. Brake of angle grinder stops the wheel in 3 seconds or less for maximum productivity. It has a power trigger switch with lock-on feature for reliable performance. Angle grinder has a soft start feature for smooth start-ups. This tool is ideal for welders, fabricators, masons, maintenance/repair and many more.

Powerful 15.0 AMP motor delivers 8,500 RPM for optimum performance in high demand applications
Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) turns the motor off if rotation of the wheel is suddenly forced to stop
Brake stops the wheel in 3 seconds or less for maximum productivity
Anti-restart protection is engineered to prevent motor start up in the on-power switch position after a power disruption
Soft start suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life
Status light indicates live power, electrical failure or worn carbon brushes
Rotatable rear handle along with a three position side handle combine to provide increased comfort in various applications
Power trigger comes equipped with lock-on feature for continuous operation and lock-off feature which requires two actions for power on
Vibration absorbing rear and side handles are designed to effectively reduce vibration to the operator
Spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy
Labyrinth construction seals and protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris for longer tool life
Aluminum gear housing provides superior gear alignment and smoother transmission for increased durability
