The Makita 7 Inch angle grinder is powered by a 15 Amp motor that rotates at 8500 RPM. The ergonomically designed handle is provided with soft rubberized grip so that the user can work for long duration without any fatigue. AC/DC switch allows for use with alternative power source while the tool-less wheel guard ensures quick and easy adjustments. Labyrinth construction offers long lasting durability by preventing the entry of debris to motor, bearings and gears. The spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. Zig-zag epoxy is applied to both sides of the armature coil and a powder coating to provide long lasting durability while protecting from debris. The electric angle push-button rotation on the rear handle and positive stop at every 90 degree allows to tackle most cutting and grinding tasks. The 3-position adjustable side handle offers excellent operator convenience. The large rubber tool rest safeguards the work piece from any possible damage.
