The Makita 6 Inch random orbit sander is a perfect tool for finish sanding and bluffing applications. It is powered by a 6.6 Amp motor that operates at a speed of 1600 to 6800 OPM for smooth sanding results. Two-mode operating switch allows the user to alternate the operating modes from random orbit to random orbit with forced rotation. Sander conforms well with 6 Inch hook and loop abrasive for easier installation and removal. Barrel grip and the side handle have an ergonomic design that minimizes vibration and ensures user comfort. Variable speed dial helps the user to adjust the operating speed depending upon the application. The 7/32 Inch random orbit action produces a smooth and swirl-free finish. Through-the-pad dust collection mechanism prevents the dirt and debris from entering the tool. Backing pad can be changed quickly without the need of any tool. Lock-on trigger switch has a sliding mechanism for user convenience. Removable pad protector safeguards the user and the surface from any potential damage. Soft start mechanism ensures a smooth initiation of the tool without any hassles. Dust extraction can be attached easily without any tools. Compact and lightweight design makes it easy to use and operate. Sander comes with a 120 grit abrasive disc, soft backing pad, dust extracting attachment, pad protector, side handle and an interlocking case.
