Makita 5 in. Straight Grinder

The Makita 5 Inch straight grinder is powered by a powerful 7 Amp motor that rotates at 5600 RPM for enhanced performance. Labyrinth construction offers long lasting durability by preventing the entry of debris to motor, bearings and gears. The spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. Zig-zag epoxy is applied to both sides of the armature coil and a powder coating to provide long lasting durability while protecting from debris. The spring loaded sealed drive bearing is designed to help prevent dust and debris from penetrating drive bearing. Toolless guard cap removal allows for more convenient wheel changes. Larger cooling fan and blades pull more air through the motor to maintain lower operating temperature. This grinder is perfect for metal fabrication and pipe welders. It includes hex wrench, wrench holder, lock nut and inner flange.
