Makita 5 In. Angle Grinder

The Makita 5 Inch SJS™ angle grinder is powered by a 10.5 Amp motor that rotates at 11,000 RPM. SJS™ mechanical clutch system avoids motor and gear damage there by allowing the drive shaft to slip if the wheel is forced to stop. The ergonomically designed handle is provided with soft rubberized grip so that the user can work for long duration without any fatigue. AC/DC switch allows for use with alternative power source while the tool-less wheel guard ensures quick and easy adjustments. Labyrinth construction offers long lasting durability by preventing the entry of debris to motor, bearings and gears. It is perfect for applications including cutting, ferrous metal, paint and rust removal, shipyard maintenance, heavy machinery, metal polishing, general steel grinding, auto repair work, cutting brick and masonry and restoration work. The spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. It includes wheel guard, side handle, inner flange, lock-nut and wrench. This grinder is designed for shaving down burrs or cuts through metal and other materials for a smooth finish.
