The Makita 4-1/2 Inch angle grinder is powered by a 6 Amp motor that rotates at 11,000 RPM. The side handle is positioned at a 20 degree angle for enhanced comfort. Machined bevel gears offer double the long service life compared to previous models. Labyrinth construction offers long lasting durability by preventing the entry of debris to motor, bearings and gears. It is perfect for applications including welders, fabricators, masons, maintenance/repair and more. All-ball bearing design and metal gear housing provides long lasting durability. Protective zig-zag varnish seals the armature so that no dust or debris enters. The slide switch design with lock-on provides great user convenience. It includes grinding wheel, inner flange, lock nut wrench, wheel guard, lock nut and side handle.
