The 40V max XGT® 4-Sp. High-Torque 1" Sq. Drive D-Handle Short Anvil Impact Wrench with Friction Ring (GWT09) delivers the power of pneumatic impact wrenches for large diameter bolts. It is ideal for use in heavy equipment maintenance, commercial construction, OTR truck service, as well as in pipe fitting, oil and gas, rail maintenance, automotive repair and more. The GWT09 features a Makita-built motor that delivers 2,950 ft.lbs. of Nut-Busting Torque and 2,320 ft.lbs. of Fastening Torque. It out-powers similar models in heavy load applications. It features three forward and three reverse Auto-Stop modes for increased efficiency. The Short Anvil Impact Wrench features a four-speed power selection switch (0-600 / 0-700 / 0-850 / 0-1,200 RPM & 0-1,200 / 0-1,300 / 0-1,500 / 0-1,750 IPM) for a wide range of applications. It also features a rubber joint for the battery, that provides anti-vibration protection by separating battery and tool impacts. Convenience features include a short anvil for maximum maneuverability and an L.E.D. light ring that provides superior 360° illumination to help eliminate shadows and illuminate a larger area. It features up to 47% more nut-busting torque than leading competitor battery powered impact wrench. XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40V max lithium-ion batteries.
