Makita 40V max ConnectX Brushless Backpack Blower (Bare Tool)

Makita is meeting demand with an expanding collection of blowers, including the 40V ConnectX™ Brushless Backpack Blower (CBU04Z). With zero emissions, lower noise, and considerably less maintenance than gas-powered models, this Backpack Blower is a welcome solution for landscapers seeking to convert their truck or trailer to battery-powered equipment. A Makita-built brushless motor delivers the power of a 64cc backpack blower and a high blowing force of 24 Newtons to handle heavy debris. It has a tube-mounted variable speed trigger that adjusts between 0 - 696 CFM for power and run time management. There is a cruise control lever speed lock-on variable speed trigger for comfortable continuous operation. It has a sound pressure rating of 62 dB(A); measured per ANSI B 175.2 standard. The nozzle features a downward endpoint to reduce arm fatigue and provide powerful airflow. The telescoping long nozzle adjusts for a variety of user heights and applications. The in-line fan design provides better tool balance and improved ergonomics. The CBU04 can deliver up to two hours of runtime with the ConnectX™ 1,500Wh Portable Backpack Power Supply (model number PDC1500 power supply sold separately) Convenience features include a power button on the control handle that allows the user to start the Backpack Blower while wearing it. There is a tool-less control handle adjustment for user convenience. The handle features a rubberized soft grip that provides increased comfort on the job. It features an adjustable ergonomic harness with waist belt for operator comfort. For added user convenience there is an integrated carry handle for transportation and hanging storage, as well as a durable housing with base that allows the backpack blower to stand upright.
