Makita 3-1/4 HP Plunge Router with Variable Speed

The Makita 3-1/4 HP plunge router is perfect for fine woodworking, cabinetry, windows, doors and more. Linear ball bearing construction ensures a smooth plunging action for optimum performance. The 15 Amp motor delivers an operating speed of 9000 to 22,000 RPM. Plunge depth capacity of 0 to 2-3/4 Inch ensures smooth penetration into the workpiece. Integrated fan has a labyrinth construction that prevents the accumulation of dust into the tool. Rubberized handles have an ergonomic design for user convenience and the integral two-finger switch ensures operational control. Lock-on trigger ensures uninterrupted operation for longer periods of time. Quick-release plunge consists of micro control technology that makes it easy to adjust the depth and the three preset depth stops ensures accurate alignment. Plunge lock lever is placed at a convenient location for smooth operation. Shaft lock makes it easy to adjust and change the bits easily with the help of a tool-less template guide system. Chip deflector directs the chips away from the user to ensure safety. Depth setting can be seen from an easy-to-read scale. Flat top design keeps the tool stable when changing or installing the bits. Router works well with 1/4 Inch and 1/2 Inch shank router bits. Double insulated design offers good user safety. Twin LED lights brighten up the work surface area in dark conditions. Router comes with two collets, depth adjustment knob and a spanner wrench.
