Makita 18V X2 (36V) LXT 7 1/2in Miter Saw (Bare Tool)

The Makita 36 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion dual slide compound miter saw tool uses two 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries to deliver the power and performance of a corded miter saw without leaving the 18 Volt LXT® platform. The Automatic Speed Change™ technology effectively adjusts cutting speed as well as torque during cut for optimum performance. Saw features powerful BL™ brushless motor to deliver 5700 RPM for rapid cutting operation. Brushless motor is electronically controlled to minimize battery energy use up to 50% longer run time per charge. Tool has 4-steel rail sliding system for increasing rigidity and linear ball bearing system to deliver superior and dead-on precise cuts. It is fitted with a large aluminum base to support large stock for efficient operation. Direct drive gearbox of tool increases cutting efficiency, thereby minimizes maintenance. Soft start suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life. It comes with a rubberized soft grip handle to render increased comfort on the job. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. This innovative cordless miter saw is a great cutting solution for room-to-room applications for remodelers, flooring contractors, cabinet installers, case/base installers and many more.
