The Makita 18 Volt LXT® compact 1/2 Inch driver drill tool contains BL1830B 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 3.0 Amp-hour battery, DC18SD 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion charger and a tool bag. Driver drill tool is specially designed for user who wants a drill with superior power-to-weight ratio. Tool effectively delivers 440 Inch-lb of max torque with an efficient brushless motor, which delivers up 50% more work per charge with increased power and speed. In driver mode, the adjustable torque settings offer more control for a full range of applications that is from large fasteners to smaller delicate screws. The BL™ brushless motor effectively eliminates carbon brushes, while allowing the BL™ motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life. It is fitted with rubberized soft grip handle for improved comfort on the job. Tool comes with a dual LED lights with afterglow feature for increased work area illumination. Driver drill featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This Star Protection communication technology also monitors condition while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. The kit contains an efficient 18 Volt LXT® 3.0 Amp-hour battery, which reaches a full charge in only 30 minutes for minimal downtime and increased productivity. Tool can also be powered by Makita 18 Volt LXT® and compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery.
