Makita 12 in. Portable Planer

The Makita portable planer can cut up to 12 Inch wide, 1/8 Inch deep and 6-3/32 Inch thick surfaces and thus is perfect for finish woodworking applications such as cabinets, closets, staircase and more. Compact and lightweight profile of the planer ensures a noiseless operation and makes it easy to change the blades. Interna-Lok automated head clamp prevents sniping thus enhancing the planer performance. The 15 Amp motor operates at a speed of 8500 RPM at a lower sound rate of 83 dB. Depth stop can be adjusted easily for repeated cuts. The 4-port and the diagonal cross design ensure operational stability. Large table extensions gives good support for the user while keeping the planning surface balanced. LED light denotes the planer is plugged into the power source. On/Off paddle switch is easy to use and control the machine. Detachable tool box enables the storage of small equipment. This planer comes with a planer blade, blade wrench, a magnetic holder and a key.
