Lenox Vari-Bit 3/16 to 7/8 Inch Impact Step Drill Bit

The Lenox Vari-Bit impact-rated step drill bit is engineered for drilling clean, accurate holes while handling the high torque and rotational impact produced by compatible impact drivers. Its 1/4 Inch quick-change hex shank fits quick-change chucks and helps resist slipping under demanding torque conditions. The patented two-flute cutting design produces fast, round, burr-free holes, while the split-point tip starts on contact to promote faster penetration and reduce walking. A durable steam oxide coating supports extended tool life, and the enhanced flute design efficiently removes chips during drilling. The stepped cutting profile provides multiple hole sizes from 3/16 Inch through 7/8 Inch, allowing users to drill or enlarge openings without changing bits. Designed for fabrication, electrical, maintenance, and workshop applications, this bit is not intended for hammer drills. LENOX PROTOOL LUBE is recommended to help maximize tool life.
