Lenox Vari-Bit 7/8 to 1-1/8 Inch Step Drill Bit

The Lenox Vari-Bit step drill bit is designed to produce clean, accurately sized holes through thin materials while reducing the need to change drill bits between hole sizes. Its two-flute cutting design helps create fast, round, burr-free holes, making it suitable for fabrication, electrical, maintenance, and general workshop applications. The split-point design starts on contact to improve penetration and reduce bit walking, supporting greater control during drilling. A steam oxide coating helps enhance durability and service life, while the flute design promotes efficient chip removal during operation. This bit covers 7/8 Inch and 1-1/8 Inch sizes, allowing users to enlarge existing openings, create new holes, or deburr drilled holes in materials up to 1/8 Inch thick. LENOX PROTOOL LUBE is recommended to help extend tool life during demanding drilling applications.
