The Kwikset SmartCode electronic touch pad deadbolt delivers convenient keyless access, contemporary styling, and dependable exterior door security. Its Satin Nickel finish provides a versatile appearance that works with both traditional and modern hardware. The electronic keypad supports code-based entry, while multiple predefined auto-lock settings allow homeowners to select convenient locking behavior. The keypad remains illuminated for 10 seconds after inactivity, helping improve visibility when entering access codes in low-light conditions. SmartKey Security provides the ability to re-key the lock for a compatible KW1 Keyway key, giving users greater control over access management. Microban antimicrobial product protection helps keep the hardware surface 99.9 percent cleaner than unprotected surfaces. The deadbolt's adjustable latch accommodates standard door preparations from 2-3/8 Inch to 2-3/4 Inch, while interchangeable round-corner and square-corner faceplates support installation flexibility. ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certification and UL testing compliance make it suitable for contractors, homeowners, and DIY projects. Door knob and batteries sold separately.
