The "S" curve allows you to approach or maintain different pitch angles while jointing the mortar. The curve allows the mason to control the pressure applied to the joint while keeping their hands away from the brick. The pivoting motion of the jointer prevents marring the joint while applying even wear to the blade. Each jointer is heat treated for hardness and long wear. The blade is zinc plated to resist rust. This tool creates a concave joint, the most popular joints in the United States. One end makes a 1/2 In., flip it around and makes a 5/8 In. joint. Patented design (U.S. Patent 4,879,780) reduces wrist and arm fatigue. Overall length 9-1/4 In.
