Knipex 9" StepCut XL Cable Shears 1000V Insulated

High-leverage joint, long handles and optimized cutting edges for an easier cut than with compact cable shears. Cuts solid copper or aluminum cables up to 2 AWG, stranded cables up to 2/0 AWG and fine stranded cables up to 4/0 AWG. Dual cutting areas: step cutting edges position cables close to the joint and the front cutting edge is used for the gradual cutting ("nibbling") of larger cables.

Laser-hardened cutting edges (approx. 56 HRC).
1000V multi-component grips, ASTM F1505-tested.
High-grade special tool steel; forged; oil-hardened.
