The K2 Pumps PPI10012SPK is a 1 HP two-speed self-priming pool pump designed for residential inground and aboveground swimming pool applications. Its two-speed design can deliver over 50% energy savings compared with conventional single-speed pool pumps, helping reduce operating costs during routine circulation. The heavy-duty Open Drip Proof motor uses dual ball bearings and automatic thermal overload protection for dependable performance. High-speed operation provides up to 75 GPM with maximum pressure of 21 psi, while low-speed operation provides 37 GPM with maximum pressure of 6 psi. An industrial-size strainer basket collects debris and helps extend intervals between cleaning. Universal union fittings accommodate 1-1/2 Inch or 2 Inch PVC suction and discharge piping, while included riser feet simplify alignment with existing plumbing. The Viton pump seal provides resistance to chemical imbalances in pool water. A prewired 6 Ft cord and plug further simplify installation, making this pump practical for pool contractors and homeowners.
