The K2 Pumps WPS05002K is a 1/2 HP shallow well jet pump designed for dependable water supply from sources located up to 25 Ft deep. Its rugged cast iron construction provides durable support for residential and utility water systems, while the heavy-duty dual-voltage motor operates at either 115V or 230V for flexible installation. The motor is preset at 230V and can be converted to 115V using the built-in voltage switch according to installation requirements. Self-priming capability simplifies startup after the pump housing has initially been filled, provided the appropriate foot valve or check valve is installed. A pre-mounted 30/50 pressure switch supports automated pressure control during normal operation, helping maintain system pressure without requiring constant manual intervention. This pump is suited to contractors, homeowners, farms, cabins, and utility water applications requiring a practical shallow well water supply solution.
