Get the JET® 14-Inch Closed Stand Bandsaw, 1HP, 1Ph, 115/230V to have the full range of saw-cutting capabilities, from resawing to crosscutting, to ripping and scrolling. The bandsaw's 1 hp motor rotates the blade at 3000 sfpm, cutting stock and boards up to 6 inches in height and 13.5 inches wide. The Jet JWBS-14CS bandsaw comes with a guide post that can be adjusted in 1/16-inch increments up to 6 inches to ensure accurate cuts. The roller-bearing blade guides stabilize the blade and prevent it from overheating and damaging stock. The Jet 14-inch bandsaw features a cast-iron frame that reduces vibration during cuts. A 15-inch square table, offset from the frame, provides an ample work surface and adds to cutting stability and safety. The Jet band saw also comes with a 4-inch dust collection outlet to keep your work area free of micro-fine particulates when used with an accessory dust collection system.
