The Jet enclosed-gearbox lathe features a motor that runs at a low voltage to help save resources and increase efficiency. It also allows for quick and easy speed changes so that you can adjust it to the job at hand. The Jet BDB-1340A lathe with CBS-1340A stand boasts headstock gears with a helical cut for quieter operation. Its spindle is supported by roller bearings that are precision tapered. There is a gap bed section in this low-voltage lathe that is specifically designed for jobs that involve a high diameter. A full-length splash guard makes sure that fluid and chips do not enter the work area.
