JET 13 Inch Benchtop Helical Head Planer

The new JET 13 Benchtop Planer is designed for woodworkers who prioritize finish quality, reduced noise, and long-term cutting efficiency. With a full 13-inch planing capacity, it handles wide stock while maintaining a compact benchtop footprint. The true helical cutterhead uses 30 individually indexed carbide inserts that shear the wood fibers for a cleaner surface, quieter operation, and extended edge life. Each insert can be rotated or replaced as needed to maintain consistent results. A 2HP, 115-volt motor drives the cutterhead at 9,500 RPM, delivering smooth, controlled cuts on standard household power. Additional features include folding infeed and outfeed tables for improved material support, a depth stop preset for fast repeatable setups, and a 2-1/2 inch and 4 inch dust collection port. One person portability and vertical storage capability make it easy to transport and store when space is limited.
