Irwin 1 In. x 4 In. Blue Groove Spade Drill Bit

Use the IRWIN® SPEEDBOR® 1-Inch x 4-Inch Short-Length Spade Bit in tight quarters where standard bits won't fit. The bit goes in drill/drivers and impact drivers to bore holes for running wiring and piping, especially through studs. The Irwin spade bit is short at 4 inches, but it's also beefy, with a 10 percent larger shaft than standard bits. The Irwin spade bit has a 1-inch wide Blue-Groove™ point and cutting-edge head, giving you the extreme sharpness you need to drill through material smoothly and quickly. The head also has dual-spur cutters that easily scribe out the hole to provide a smooth bore. The Irwin spade drill bit has a 1/4-inch shank that is compatible with most quick-change chucks. Its grooved, hex-shape shank keeps it stable in the drill chuck. The Irwin drill bit has the size, strength and sharpness you need for close-quarter drilling.
