The IRWIN® 1/4 Inch x 6 Inch SPEEDBOR® 2000 Flat Bit gives you fast results on all types of wood boring projects. The blue tip features a subtle parabolic groove that removes chips and dust more efficiently for faster drilling. A double spur design shapes the hole before chipping into the wood for reduced vibration and a smoother finish. Irwin's flat drill bit has a 1/4-inch hex shank that's compatible with standard drill chucks and 1/4-inch quick-change tool adapters. The grooved shank also prevents slipping for improved reliability and accuracy. Etching at the top of the flat wood drill bit helps you find the right size bit quickly on busy jobs.
