Husky 3/4 Inch Female Reconnectable Safe-T Breakaway

The Husky 3/4 Inch Female Reconnectable Safe-T Breakaway with Scuff Guard provides advanced protection against accidental drive-offs while reducing equipment downtime and replacement costs. Installed between the discharge hose and whip hose, it creates a secure disconnect point that automatically stops fuel flow on both sides when separation occurs. Unlike disposable models, this reconnectable design retains its UL listing after reconnection, allowing fast restoration of service. A pre-loaded spring combined with a single-turn wave spring helps resist sudden pressure spikes that could otherwise cause nuisance separations, while the ball bearing and latch ring mechanism separates at less than 200 pounds of force to minimize backlash and reduce damage to fueling equipment. The integrated scuff guard improves durability in demanding commercial environments, making this breakaway ideal for retail fuel stations, fleet fueling systems, and industrial dispensing applications.
