Description

GRK Fasteners RSS Screw Handy-Pak 5/16 x 3in1/8

The patented RSS Rugged Structural Screw is self-tapping with the Zip-Tip and W-Cut, starhead, has a washer head design, and CEE thead. The RSS is made of specially hardened steel to provide you with high tensile, torque and shear strength. The built in washer head has no sharp edges as conventional lag screws. The RSS is also available in PHEINOX Stainless Steel.

Built in Washer Head
W-Cut Thread design cuts through any fibrous material with ease and reduces the amount of torque required to install the screw. Zip-Tip™ is designed for fast starts in any fibrous materials.
CEE Thread enlarges the screw hole for the non-threaded portion of the fastener allowing the wood to settle easily.
Climatek™ is a patented GRK coating in gold color for corrosion protection.
Lag screw alternative.
Self-tapping is the ability of a screw to advance when turned, while creating its own mating thread.
