GRK Fasteners RSS Screw Bulk 5/16 x 6in

The patented RSS™ Rugged Structural Screw is self-tapping with the Zip-Tip™ and W-Cut™, starhead, has a washer head design, and CEE thead. The RSS™ is made of specially hardened steel to provide you with high tensile, torque and shear strength. The built in washer head has no sharp edges as conventional lag screws. The RSS™ is also available in PHEINOX™ Stainless Steel.

Built in Washer Head
W-Cut Thread design cuts through any fibrous material with ease and reduces the amount of torque required to install the screw. Zip-Tip™ is designed for fast starts in any fibrous materials.
CEE Thread enlarges the screw hole for the non-threaded portion of the fastener allowing the wood to settle easily.
Climatek™ is a patented GRK coating in gold color for corrosion protection.
Lag screw alternative.
Self-tapping is the ability of a screw to advance when turned, while creating its own mating thread.
Built-in washer head
Starhead recess so no stripping occurs.
