Lock in heat. Infuse with smoke. A twin-walled, insulated door with cutouts for meat probes-perfect for baking, hot-smoking, or slow-roasting meats. Throw rosemary on the ember bed to create an herb-infused chamber for fire-cooked flavor. Built from ceramic coated 304 steel and double walled for extra heat retention, the Dome (Gen 2) Door makes it easy to control the oven temperature, amount of smoke or steam in the oven, and easily adjust with the sliding vents. The Dome (Gen 2) Door is a key accessory for any chef looking to up their game and versatility. The ovens thick stone and dense insulation combined with the door creates the perfect cooking environment for smoking, slow-roasting, and baking. Do not install the door while the gas burner is lit. Always make sure the gas flame is extinguished and the gas dial is in the off position before installing the door. When cooking with wood or charcoal only utilize the door with embers, not a live flame.
