Grind and shave metal or make 90-degree cuts and shallow angle grinds with the FLEX 4-1/2” Combo Cut/Grind Disc. Ideal for electricians cutting and grinding off deck stands in industrial construction, or metal cutoff work where burrs can be ground off after the cut without switching tools or wheels, this multipurpose disc is suitable for a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and cast iron. Made from silicon carbide, the disc delivers quick stock removal when grinding while being versatile enough to make cuts. Its depressed center allows ample clearance when working at a constrained angle for shallow angle grinds and 90-degree cuts. Its iron- and sulfur-free construction reduces oxidizable particles left behind on finished surfaces to help prevent rust, while a coating slows moisture exposure for extended disc life. Three full-face fabric layers hold this disc together for added stability and safety during use.
