Reliable Smoke Protection: The SM100V-AC Interconnect Hardwire Smoke Alarm with Battery Backup and Voice and Location Alerts is a superior choice for protection against fire. Easily add protection throughout your home or replace existing hardwire detectors using the hardwire quick connect plug - no rewiring needed. Also equipped with a backup battery to provide continuous protection in the event of a power outage. Voice & Locations Alerts: If smoke is detected, the alarm will sound and a friendly voice will tell you the location of danger in your home to help you safely escape. Easy to program and operate, the smoke detector allows you to choose between 11 pre-programmed home locations. Early Warning Interconnect: Install as a standalone smoke alarm or interconnect multiple detectors together to create an alarm system throughout your home. When one hardwire interconnected alarm sounds, all connected alarms will sound to help provide an early warning. Integrate with up to 12 other First Alert or BRK alarms and 6 other compatible devices. Reference users manual for compatible alarms. If the detector system sounds, the latching alarm indicator will visually identify the unit that initiated the alarm. Convenient Safety Features: Ensure the smoke detector is working properly using the single test/silence button located on the front of the alarm. The device batteries should be replaced regularly and alarms themselves should be replaced at least every 10 years. The low battery and end-of-life warnings will help notify you when it's time to replace. See user's manual for information on how and when to test and replace detectors.
