This model replaces the RTS 400 EQ and features a more powerful motor - 250 watts, a 25% increase over previous design. The addition of MMC Electronics which govern the top speed of the armature using a tachometer allows for constant and consistent power and speed while sanding. Improved Ergonomics, New Robust Power Switch and Interlocking Dust Port are some of the additional features to improve comfort, control, and cleanliness during long-term use! Also comes with a Protector that envelopes the tool edges to prevent damage to the pads and surfaces. With the New Festool RTS 400 REQ Orbital Finish Sander, you'll be able to perform single-handed work easily on flat, vertical and overhead surfaces.
