Ideal for monitoring environmental conditions (temperature, humidity and dew point) in laboratories, storage areas, manufacturing assembly areas and other controlled environments, the humidity alert meter features a user settable alarm and will warn you, both audibly and visually, when adverse conditions occur. High humidity can create a breeding ground for mold and low humidity can create static electricity. The 445815 also displays the dew point reading which is a calculation of temperature and humidity and used to determine when condensation will occur. The humidity alert meter features a remote probe that can either clip onto the meter or extend on an 18 In. cable, where the user can take measurements behind walls, in ducts, or other areas that are difficult to access. It also features a large digit LCD screen, which allows for the simultaneous display of humidity, temperature and dew point. The meter comes complete with a built-in stand, mounting bracket, and two aaa batteries.
