Skullerz AEGIR-AFAS-PC Photochromic Lens Safety Glasses feature an oversized blade-style design to provide superior eye protection and maximized field of vision. These protective safety glasses feature polycarbonate lenses to protect against impacts and filter 99.9 percent of harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays. The high-strength frame is built for durability and the rubberized nose bridge and temples offer non-slip security and resist sweat for all-day comfort. To provide a custom fit, the rubber temples can be easily bent and re-bent to accommodate a variety of head shapes and fit preferences. The lenses also feature Fog-Off+ technology which combines durable scratch-resistance and enhanced anti-fog performance for clear viewing no matter the job—particularly useful for those working with dust masks or in extreme temperature change. Photochromic lenses automatically darken in sunlight and return to clear indoors as UV levels change. Light-sensitive molecules react to UV exposure to help reduce glare and minimize strain, eliminating the need to switch between clear safety glasses and sunglasses. These lenses feature category 1-3 performance with a visible light transmission (VLT) range of 55-17%, delivering reliable visibility in changing light conditions. A microfiber cleaning bag is included to both clean and store the glasses when not in use. The glasses are also compatible with the Ergodyne Skullerz elastic retainer strap (sold separately), offering added security during active tasks.
