The N-Ferno 6817 FR Winter Skull Cap is made from inherently flame-resistant modacrylic fabric that will not melt or drip when exposed to flame, delivering warmth and dependable protection in hazardous work environments. Tested and approved to meet ASTM F1506 and NFPA 70E requirements, it is classified as CAT 2, making it suitable for tasks where arc flash protection is required. A soft brushed fleece interior provides a snug, secure fit with full coverage over the forehead and ears, while the lightweight, breathable construction adds warmth without bulk. Its low-profile design allows it to be worn on its own or comfortably under a hard hat or safety helmet for additional insulation on the job. Built for durability, the fabric retains its inherent flame-resistant properties through repeated machine washing and extended wear.
