1600E: The Ellis 1600 band saw is very popular for its dual mitering capability, extremely large cutting capacity, and rugged durability. The material stays stationary for miter cuts, while the head rotates up to 45 degrees both left and right. Fast and accurate angle selection is possible with the built-in protractor. Head feed rate is controlled by the hydraulic control, which has a locking valve for setting up cuts. Material clamping and unclamping are quick and easy with the standard quick-acting vise. Ellis band saws are individually set up and tested at the factory including the blade break-in process to ensure you will be up and running fast. This workhorse saw will meet your needs in the shop or on the job site for years. 6252: The Ellis built-in stock stand is the most popular option for the 1600 and 1800 Mitering Head Band Saws. The Stock Stand mounts directly to the saw and extends approximately 2-1/2 Ft. out. Includes 2 In. feed rollers and a micro adjustable length stop.
