Guaranteed not to hollow or groove, DMT's precisely engineered Dia-Sharp® bench stone with continuous diamond surface assures consistent, even sharpening every time. The 8 In. length is ideal for a variety of knives and tools, providing cutting edge performance for edge repair and honing. Also a great alternative to power grinding, you won't have to worry about ruining the temper of your tools with Dia-Sharp® bench stones. Perfect for flattening plane soles, irons and chisel backs as well, there is little the Dia-Sharp® bench stone can't handle. This particular model comes equipped with extra-fine diamond (9 micron / 1200 mesh) to polish and refine a razor edge after sharpening with a coarser diamond. Also includes non-skid rubber feet with the diamond grit clearly marked on side of stone. Thanks to its micronized monocrystalline diamond surface as well, you can sharpen edges faster and easier than conventional stones can. No messy oils are needed either, allowing you to sharpen dry or with water.
