These blades have heat-treated, hardened cutting edges that offer up to five times the service life of comparable blades. Featuring a rigid 1-inch wide body and a dual-tooth edge with small gullets, Diablo's 9-inch bi-metal recip blade lets you make fast and accurate cuts. It also has a nonstick Perma-SHIELD® coating that prevents overheating and protects against gumming and corrosion. The Diablo bi-metal reciprocating saw blade's variable-tooth 8/14 teeth per inch (TPI) edge slices through wood with embedded nails, metal and plastic quickly, and its pointed tip makes it easy to start plunge cuts.
