It also has a rugged 1-inch blade body that decreases blade vibration that can affect your cutting accuracy. Perma-SHIELD®, a nonstick coating, minimizes heat buildup and protects the reciprocating saw blade against gumming and corrosion. The tool's unique tip design starts plunge cuts quickly, and its dual-tooth edge with small gullets makes fast cuts in most materials.
