The hammer is engineered for fast chipping on hard concrete and delivers up to 10.5 J of impact energy**. From remodeling projects to general contractor jobs, the versatile hammer can handle a wide variety of applications while maintaining a consistent speed under load with constant-speed electronics. This highly maneuverable, midweight power tool can be used for can be used for horizontal chipping in upper or lower wall areas and concrete surface preparation applications. Built for comfortable operation, the SHOCKS Active Vibration Control system helps reduce vibration felt by the user at the handles compared to rotary hammers without this feature. WIRELESS TOOL CONTROL technology enables the user to link the tool to the DCV585 60V MAX* dust extractor (sold separately) for remote extractor activation. This cordless chipping hammer comes Tag Ready so individuals and companies can attach a DEWALT Tag (sold separately) to track its location via the DEWALT Tool Connect app.
