DEWALT 20-in Variable-Speed Scroll Saw with Stand Combo

Rely on the versatility and functionality of the DEWALT® 20-Inch Variable-Speed Scroll Saw (DW788) for woodworking that requires intricate cuts with different size workpieces. The DEWALT scroll saw has a 20-inch radius capacity and can handle pieces up to 2 inches thick. The table can be beveled to 45 degrees. The upward-pivoting arm of the 20-inch scroll saw can be positioned to insert the blade for interior cuts, and it remains level when lowered to keep the blade aligned with the workpiece. The saw has a variable-speed range of between 400 and 1,750 strokes per minute for delicate or rugged work. The DEWALT 20-inch variable-speed scroll saw also operates with twin parallel-link arms that soften movement and sound. Blades can be changed without tools, and controls for power, variable speed, dust blower and blade tensioner are co-located on the front arm. The DEWALT variable-speed scroll saw can work with DEWALT's scroll saw stand and work light. This combo kit also includes the DEWALT scroll stand (DW7880) that is a great accessory to have when you don’t have a lot of work bench space. Ruggedly crafted with holes at the base so you can bolt the stand to the floor, this stand is built to last in even heavy duty applications. It’s built from all metal can be simply orientated to the height you need with the rear adjustable legs.

Features

Double parallel-link arm design dramatically reduces vibration and noise, for extremely accurate cuts. Exclusive, tool-free blade clamps allow blade changes in seconds.
On-off switch, electronic variable speed, flexible dust blower, and blade-tensioning lever are all located on the front upper arm. Arm lifts so that blade can be easily threaded through the material for inside cuts.
Arm design pivots from the back of the saw to the front, shortening the arm movement for smoother, quieter operation. Oversized, cast-iron table provides excellent material support and bevels 45 degrees (left and right).
Independently certified to applicable standards.
The stand has a robust all-metal construction, adjustable legs, and all mounting hardware is included.
