DeoxIT Gold G-Series G5S-6 Contact Conditioner is formulated to improve conductivity and provide long-lasting protection for gold, silver, rhodium, copper, bronze, nickel, and other precious or base-metal contacts. The 5% DeoxIT Gold formulation penetrates plated surfaces and molecularly bonds to base metals to help stabilize and protect contact interfaces. Designed for critical applications requiring only slight cleaning action, it helps maintain signal quality while reducing fretting and dendrite corrosion, intermittent connections, arcing, radio-frequency interference, wear, and abrasion. Its spray applicator provides flushing action, with a slower-evaporating solvent helping remove light dirt, grease, and contaminants from accessible connectors and components. The formulation contains 5% active DeoxIT Gold, 75% odorless mineral spirits, and 20% propellant. For heavily oxidized or visibly dirty surfaces, precleaning with DeoxIT D-Series contact cleaner is recommended. The 142g aerosol is ideal when overspray is manageable and controlled flushing action is beneficial.
