DeoxIT Fader F-Series F5S-H6 is a precision lubricant and treatment designed for moving contact surfaces such as faders, switches, potentiometers, and other mechanisms with sliding surfaces. The 5% DeoxIT Fader formulation replenishes lubrication lost through repeated cleaning, wear, dust, dirt, spills, and other contamination while helping maintain smooth tactile operation. It is formulated for conductive plastics and controls, helping preserve signal quality and reduce wear and abrasion on plastic surfaces. The spray applicator provides flushing action to help remove surface contaminants, while the slower-evaporating solvent supports thorough treatment of accessible components. The formulation contains 5% active DeoxIT Fader, 75% odorless mineral spirits, and 20% propellant. It can also help protect conductive membrane switches by creating a barrier against oils, grease, and acids from repeated handling. The 142g aerosol is ideal where overspray is manageable and lubrication restoration is required.
