DeoxIT D-Series DN5S-6N Contact Cleaner provides fast-acting deoxidizing treatment for connectors, contacts, and sensitive components where precise application and quick drying are important. Its 5% DeoxIT formulation rejuvenates, lubricates, and protects metal surfaces while improving conductivity and helping reduce intermittent connections, arcing, radio-frequency interference, wear, and abrasion. The non-flammable spray uses a quick-drying, non-drip solvent that provides controlled application without the flushing action associated with slower-evaporating formulas. Its formulation contains 5% active DeoxIT, 75% Solstice PF carrier solvent, and 20% propellant. The spray is particularly suited to delicate connectors and components located on or inside equipment where overspray is a concern. The formulation is designed to be safe on plastics, although compatibility testing is recommended for critical or sensitive materials. It also avoids rubber swelling, making it useful when controlled treatment is more important than extended flushing action.
