DeoxIT CAIG Rosin Soldering Flux, Type RSF-R80, 50 Gram Jar

DeoxIT RSF Rosin Soldering Flux provides mildly activated flux performance for general-purpose electrical soldering and connection work. Its activity is considerably greater than water-white rosin and approaches that of fully activated rosins while conforming to Type RMA requirements. The RSF paste flux meets DOD-STD-2000 and IPC-J-004 requirements for Type ROL0, representing the lowest residue corrosivity category. Its thermally stable formulation promotes effective wetting and helps reduce carbonization at soldering temperatures. The flux has a softening point of 160°F (71°C), with WW-grade rosin and an acid number of 150. It also provides specified water-extract resistivity, no effect on copper mirror testing, and fungus resistance according to MIL-E-5272. The jar applicator provides convenient access to the flux during repeated soldering operations, making the 50g package suitable for electronics repair, assembly, maintenance, and workshop applications. The nonflammable, noncorrosive formulation supports practical use for general electrical soldering connections where controlled flux activity is desired.
