CS Unitec 2 Inch Adjustable Base 2-Speed Magnetic Drill

The MAB 455 SB magnetic drill features a swivel base that provides 20˚ movement left and right and 5/8” forward and backward for drilling in hard-to-reach areas. With a stroke length of 6-1/3”, this powerful drill cuts holes up to 2-1/16” dia. in structural steel and other metals. Additional capabilities include twist drilling up to 7/8” diameter when used with a geared chuck. The 10.5 Amp, double-insulated motor has a 2-speed oil bath gearbox (250 / 450 RPM) and integrated automatic lubrication are ideal for annular cutters and twist drills. This unit has a quick-change keyless cutter system for 3/4” Weldon Shanks, saving time and money. An integrated Morse Taper 2 holder allows for fast, easy changeover between a wide range of tool holders. Integrated safety features in the MAB 455 SB include visual magnet adhesion indication and an Electronic Safety Shutoff Sensor to automatically shut down the drill motor if the magnet loses contact with the material. An internal cable routing system helps protect the motor power cord from external damage. Simple ergonomic arrangement of controls allows for one-handed operation. The magnet has a holding force of 3,750 lbs.
