Our NEW PipeMAB magnetic drills dramatically reduce the time and effort required to drill, tap, ream and countersink in pipe. Equipped with patented swivel magnetic clamping systems, PipeMAB models can drill on pipe 3” OD and larger, inner pipe wall (ID,) as well as flat and curved surfaces. The permanent magnets’ strong clamping force allows for great flexibility with adhesion on ferrous materials as thin as 9/64,” and increased accuracy with swing-away magnetic clamping allowing for easy hole alignment and clearing of debris. With a highly stable permanent magnet system, the PipeMAB’s magnets remain active independent of electricity, increasing safety and reducing the chance of drop hazards. This pipe system combined with the features of the PipeMAB 525 make for the most versatile pipe drilling machines on the market. Additional capabilities include: 2-1/2" Annular Cutter drilling capacity, twist drilling up to 1” dia., tapping up to 15/16” dia., reaming up to 7/8” dia. and countersinking up to 2", Morse Taper 3 integration, MT3 to 3/4" Weldon tool holder, variable speed & torque, and internal cable routing.
