The CS Unitec 9-Series Hornet Tungsten Carbide-Tipped Annular Cutter provides fast, precise hole-making for demanding structural and industrial metalworking applications. Featuring a 1 Inch cutting diameter and 1 Inch drilling depth, this cutter is designed for stainless steel, carbon steel, hardened alloys, cast iron, Hardox, and INOX. Premium tungsten carbide cutting tips maintain effective cutting performance through surface rust, paint, and galvanic corrosion, helping produce clean, burr-free holes while reducing secondary finishing requirements. Full-length flutes promote efficient chip evacuation to help minimize binding and chatter during drilling. Double-action tooth geometry uses alternating cutting edges to split and eject metal chips efficiently, supporting consistent cutting performance and extended tool life. A tapered inner wall assists automatic slug ejection when the hole is complete, helping simplify operation. The included pilot pin supports accurate starting and controlled drilling alignment.
