Everything you need for professional crimping is found in the BURNDY® Ergonomic Full Cycle Ratchet Hand Tool Kit. Central to the kit is the manufacturers superbly designed crimping tool. This is made with high-strength steel and features comfortable over-molded rubber handles. The tool has a ratchet mechanism that doesnt let the tool open unless the handles are fully closed, thereby increasing crimp reliability. An emergency-release function easily opens the tool. A rotating die with color-coded grooves fits every cable capacity. The Burndy mechanical full cycle ratchet tool accommodates flex, stranded or solid cables in 12 to 2 AWG sizes. For inspection purposes, it embosses the die index and the Burndy bug logo onto each crimped connector. The Burndy ratchet hand tool comes with a selection of 16 different terminals, each in quantities of 15, together with a rugged metal case. The tool creates a UL Listed/CSA Certified connection.
