Burndy 6-3/0 AWG to 2/0 AWG 250 kcmil Copper C-Tap Connector

The 6-3/0 AWG to 2/0 AWG–250 kcmil Copper C-Tap Connector provides a permanent, irreversible compression connection for grounding and bonding applications. Its C-shaped design allows installation over continuous parallel copper conductors without cutting the run, making it ideal for utility, commercial, and industrial electrical installations. Prefilled with PENETROX™ compound and strip sealed, it helps reduce oxidation while simplifying installation and ensuring long-term conductivity. Suitable for direct burial in earth or concrete, this connector is compatible with #6 AWG to 2/0 AWG solid copper tap conductors, #7 AWG to 2/0 AWG stranded copper tap conductors, #2/0 AWG to 250 kcmil stranded copper run conductors, and 1/2 in. to 5/8 in. copper grounding rods. Meets UL 467, UL 486A-486B, and IEEE 837 requirements for dependable performance.
