The MRC23EVSK router combo kit gives you the best of both the fixed and plunge-base router worlds. It's the only router combo kit (and features the only fixed base-router of any kind) that has trigger-controlled power switches in the base handles, so you don't have to reach up to a switch on the motor. The kit includes a powerful 15 Amp, 2.3HP, 10,000 to 25,000 RPM (no-load) motor with a one-piece armature shaft for accuracy and long bit-shank capacity. In addition, the motor has LED lights to provide always-on lighting. The motor is held by the bases using the Bosch quick-clamp system for easy base changes. The MRF01 fixed base features a versatile depth adjustment system that allows for easy macro and micro-fine adjustment with a 1-5/8” continuous adjustment range. This base also has threaded holes positioned in common 3-hole pattern for mounting to an optional router table. Moreover, you can adjust the depth from above the table using the included T-wrench, so there is no need to buy an expensive after-market router lift. The MRP01 plunge base expands the router's versatility and allows a plunging depth of up to 2-5/16 In. . It has exceptionally-smooth plunging action with a spring-lock plunge control lever and multi-step adjustable depth stop turret. Most importantly, this base features the Bosch-exclusive Afterlock Microfine Depth Adjustment System for optimal bit depth adjustment at any plunge setting. Both bases have the Bosch Precision Centering Design that allows the subbase to be perfectly centered around the bit, which makes it easy to keep the bit on intended cut line when using jigs, templets, dovetail fixtures and guidance devices. The kit also includes 1/2 In. and 1/4 In. self-releasing collets, comfortable bit-change wrenches and well-organized case.
